MIFA was founded by Nigerian coach Emeka Aliewa, who came to Pakistan as a player in the GEO Super League before turning his focus to developing local talent.
What started as one coach’s belief that Pakistan’s players had untapped potential has grown into one of the country’s longest-running football academies — training amateur players of all ages and abilities for over a decade.
In 2010, the German Embassy in Islamabad sponsored equipment for the academy in recognition of its work developing youth football, and MIFA has kept building since — one player, one season, one “Player of the Month” at a time.

A Nigerian footballer who made Islamabad home, Emeka brings first-hand playing experience, patience, and a demanding belief in every player’s potential. His approach combines technical development with the habits that shape dependable teammates and confident young people.
